India’s No.1 Paragliding Pilot
Vijay Soni is NO.1 CROSS COUNTRY PILOT IN THE COUNTRY with 28 years of experience and over 10,000 + hours of flying.
He was the first person in India to fly a long distance of 67 km cross-country in one go (2000),—an accomplishment recognized by paragliding Cross Country Magazine . Additionally, he made history as the first pilot in India to fly a 100 km FAI Triangle in India at Yelagiri, Tamil Nadu (2009). This record has been registered in the Limca book of record.
In 2017, Vijay Soni established his own paragliding school, Orangelife Paragliding School , located in Kamshet with the aim of training pilots to improve India’s global position in paragliding. He has trained more than 3200 pilots and has 27 years of teaching experience .The purpose of Orangelife Paragliding School, is to provide the best paragliding experience to individuals
